Do you know how to repair a flat? How about the basic tools you'll need? Learn how in this 1.5 hour class to teach you the basic skills that all cyclists should know.

Everybody is invited to participate in this 'hands on' class where you will learn how to remove your wheel, repair/replace a tire. In addition, learn about safety cycling gear such as mirrors, reflective vests and lights.

For this class you will need to bring the following for the hands on instruction:

- tire levers(2)
- spare tube
- bike wheel(1), you don't have to bring the whole bike for this one.

Not unnecessary for this class, but is recommended that you also bring a:
- portable air pump
- emergency tool kit

If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact me.

Thanks, I'm really jazzed about this meet up. I would have come on your rides sooner, but I messed up my knees training so hard in the gym to try and get ready for the season. (doh!)

    •  Special thanks to Lori, Lee, Joanne, Jim, Steve and Elizabeth for showing up and as always; look forward to the next time.
    •  Gregg is a great instructor -- patient and thorough. I learned about the basic tools needed for bike repair. I also learned how to fix a flat, remove & replace my rear tire, and realign the brakes once everything is back together...all while meeting other DC-area cyclists. If you're new to cycling, I highly recommend this class.
