Hi Jarrod - I recommend that you leave the TT bike home. There are some extreme technical sections of the ride that will not suite the bike.

I will leave from the Shady Grove metro. Given that I will add 13 miles to get to the event, I will likely do the 35 mile ride.

What Mickey you know you could spin and keep up at that pace climbing hills.

Mickey I think that the 42mph is the pace of the ride :) but first lets check with Greg before it becomes a speeding ticket issue. I am sure that everyone can keep up at that pace :)

    •  Hills were intense, which made finishing the ride very rewarding. Great weather, great comraderie, great event. Hats off to Gregg for organizing and to all who participated. You made it memorable. Looking forward to next time!
    •  totally organized and with printed sheets ...

Great day for a ride and beautiful route!
    •  This is great working out since I've not riding hilly for a while. It was nice to pump up my leg muscles! I would definitely go there again and would like to train before attend to any bike century events. After a hard ride, we stuffed up our stomach at one of nice restaurant.

Real simple you gotta love the hills, also nice to have Matt as a lead off man. Great weather and a good group.
    •  beautiful day, beautiful ride. thanks again, gregg, for all the time and effort you put into organizing this great ride.
    •  Special thanks to everyone who attended. What is there to say: the weather, the route, the company and furry creatures(5 does, 4 squirrels, beaver/skunk) made the ride a high quality one. Many thanks again and I look forward to seeing you folks again soon.
    •  Tough hills but very rewarding... most folks stick around awhile after for a good comraderie Gregg did it again... Kudos
    •  It was nice to meet new people as well as to see familiar faces. I had to make time today so didn't get to socialize but hopefully next time :) Thanks, Gregg, for arranging for such perfect weather!
    •  Gregg is a gracious host. He's introduces himself to new participants and makes everyone feel welcome. I'm confused about the Peets sponsorship, tho. Peets was nowhere in sight.
    •  I found the Poolesville Ramble the most challenging ride thus far, granted, it's only my fourth. The hills can be very challenging, but worth it, as they give way to views of beautiful Maryland countryside.
