i waited at Starbucks, where we started. However, nobody showed up for like 45 mins to and hour.. So, in my quest for FOOD, I left that junx! was looking forward to post-ride beer, as well... coffee would have sufficed. :p

This ride turned out to be quite the adventure but this ride showed the value of Gregg's meetup rides -- nobody gets left behind regardless of the circumstances. That said, it would be helpful if riders found a way to arrive on time so a few people don't cause 20 of us to start late. I admire Gregg's patience and he is way nicer than I am. I would have left without people who were considerably late. Riders really shouldn't expect the group to wait for them when they're late.

The bike trail was a bit tricky. Thanks to Mickey for putting the hammer down on the way back and pushing me and my new ride to the limit.

    •  The scenery was superb and it was nice to get familiar with roads and trails I have never ridden before. Besides the many accidents that some of the riders had (btw: I hope you're all o.k.!), I had a nice time. :)
    •  The pavement proved to be an issue for us all. Other wise I felt it could have been really enjoyable. Don
    •  Rock Creek from Garrett Park Dr south-bound is one of the better rides in the are IMHO. The stretch north-bound, however, is limited to off-road bikes
