Join us for a great scenic ride in the country. A relatively 'short hop' from the beltway, this ride promises a diverse scenery such as farmlands, forests, new/old suburban neighborhoods and beach front property.


Start/Finish :Southern HS.
Distance - 65 total miles
Pace - Medium(15 - 18 mph)
Terrain - Mostly rolling with some hills.
Course - roads.

Highlights: Green farmlands, forests, and Chesapeake Beach!

- HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATION.
- All rides are 'No Drop', for nobody will be left behind.
- ID, spare tube, bike lock/cable is highly recommended.
- Snacks and liquids can be purchased.
- The event will be cancelled/postponed if it rains.

    Enjoyable up until the mechanical incident, made the ride back to the car interesting. Ended up the bracket bearings came apart. Hoping its fixed for Reston Century

    Good Folks - Start time has been moved to a later time of 9:30am to make it easier for everyone to arrive at the start. Bernie - I think I found a 42 mile version of the ride that shares the same rest point at North Point Beach. Details to be announced.

    One of these days I'll get to this ride. But that weekend I'll be getting some altitude training in Yellowstone, while battling RVs and mooses.
