Message Board Usage Guidelines

Welcome to the VeloDCity Message Board. Please feel free to use the board to find any impromptu rides and get answers on any VeloDCity or general cycling related matters however please follow guidelines below.

1) No Spam, No Derogatory Speech, No flame wars, No insults, etc. It will not be tolerated and messages will be deleted.

2) No Sales or Transactions. Meetup nor any VeloDCity Group organizers desire the grief involved with potential issues and will not be held responsible for any issues that may arise. If you need to sell something use Craigslist, EBay, Washington City Paper, etc. Suspect messages will be deleted.

3) Looking for an impromptu ride? Post as much information that you would want to know as if you're deciding to participate. Please include the following: Meeting Location, Meeting Time, Total Distance, One Way Distance(if applicable), Estimated Pace, etc. For example: Mount Vernon Ride, 36 total miles/16 miles single direction. Start/Finish from the Roosevelt Island Parking Lot at 8:00am.

4) Don't post your phone number on the board! Use email to exchange contact information that will be helpful with connecting riding partners.
