Oxon Hill sounds like a low profile century event which might be fun. Are you dropping Civil War century in favor of Oxon Hill?

You're talking about the Indian Head Century (http://ohbike.org/cen... I haven't decided whether to do the Civil War or Indian Head this year, but know I can't do both in the same weekend. biggrin

Chris - You're right it is the Indian Head Century.

Sherwin - right now I'm signed up for both, figure if the pros can ride centuries for 3 straight weeks whats 2 in 2 days. But in reality I may either do a shorter route on the Civil War or bail all together as JMU is playing MD in football up at College Park on Saturday night and I might be going to the game.

Well, the Civil War is already sold out, so that option is off the table. The Scenic Schuykill Century is also on the 12th in Philadelphia with the TD Bank Bike Philly on the 13th. So many choices.

Link above for the Southern Maryland Century 2009 - The Indian Hill 100 doesn't work. Reposting to try and it better.

I'm considering riding in the Oxon Hill Century. Does anyone know the profile? (hilly, flat)?

LaMar, if you go to the Oxon Hill website for the ride they have a link to the route map that includes the elevation profiles of each distance. There is not a lot of overall elevation gain, but it looks like there will be a couple of short steep hills.
