Hey guys and gals,
I'm finally committing myself to train this fall and winter so that I can be ready for next year's spring/summer rides. I'm not slow but also not a hammer head....say, 15m/hr, looking for someone to bike with on the 18th of October. I have to be back in DC at around 3pm so the idea would be to bike on the WOD and then turn around a few hours into it to make it back to DC on time.

So....
Oct 18th
start time: 8am or so depends on what time your available (i'm an early riser)
end time: 1pm or so...depends on how we feel
location: WOD trail, meeting location depends on where you live...i'll be coming from DC

thanks,
esther

I'm always up for a ride in my backyard and can get on the trail bright and early if there is a plan. I rode from EFC to Leesburg and back today. Left at 9am and back a little before 2pm with a stop at Moms Apple Pie Company at the turnaround.

Heyy, thanks for the message Chris... Did you get the email I sent you? I still don't know exactly how to work this system... In any case, let's plan for the 18th. Where do you live? DC or VA? See you soon!

Yes, I got your email and sent you a reply. I'm in VA, right on the W&OD not too far form East Falls Church Metro.

Esther,

The weather forecast for the weekend isn't very promising. I'm committed to being a bike marshal for BikeDC on Saturday, so will ride rain or shine. However, after spending a couple hours riding in cold rain on Saturday, I won't be up for riding in the rain on Sunday, especially since I'll have done four or five commutes in the rain this week.

I'll still be up for the ride if it's not raining.

Chris

Good choice. After 50 cold and wet miles today, I'm ready for a break.
