It's not an organized ride. A friend sent me the NY Times article. We'd have to decide everything ourselves. I'm glad to see someone else is even curious.

Hey Collin, I'm curious enough to even think about finding out more and who knows, doing it. Would you be interested? This seems appropriate to be done with a touring bike though.

I've been wanting to ride the C&O and Allegheny Passage combo, but am too lazy to plan the logistics. As I understand it the trail from Cumberland to Pittsburgh is in much better shape than the C&O from DC to Cumberland. Depending on timing, I'd be up for something like this.

Assuming I could get my fat butt in some sort of shape (other than round) and my work schedule allowed, I'd certainly be interested in doing all or part of this.
