Introduction

I've been an avid cyclist since I was 5. I ride my recumbent 20 miles everyday. I'm a member of the Las Vegas Valley Bicycle Club, but all their rides start before 8 am. Looking for people to ride with after 10 am.

Can you share more details on your biking group goals; type of bike you have, and do you have all bike gear? Have all of you posted a picture and read the RSVP rules on the -ABOUT US- Link? Will you sign the Liability Form?

Just want people to ride with, I have a recumbent with a gel-battery headlight for night riding, I haven't yet but will read and agree to the RSVP rules, and will sign the Liability Release form.

What major cross streets do you live near, any routes in town you'd like to share or try out with the group? How far are you willing to drive for a biking event? Are you here for exercise and/or socializing?

Decatur & Sahara but I have a car rack that will take 3 bikes for rides out of town to Zion area, Mt. Charleston, or Red Rock/Blue Diamond.

What days of the week are best for you to bike? Do know bike maintenance or like to learn? Need guidance or help with bike and accessory purchase info?

Self-employed so any day, any time is good. I have shops do all my work.

How long have you been biking, how often do you ride, your average distance, speed and how comfortable are you riding on the streets? Or do you prefer bike paths only? Have you done or are you interested to train partial or full Centuries?

Cycling for 45 years, ride 20 miles everyday, average 14 mph on streets and paths, am willing to train for a half-century, but a century is too much for me.

If you are an Advanced cyclist, are you ok riding with less experienced cyclists and are you willing to share knowledge with the group? ANYONE: Would you be willing to lead a group ride (group MUST stay together) or become an Assistant Organizer?

I'm fine riding with any experience level, willing to lead a ride or sweep a ride, willing to become an Assistant Organizer.

People should join this meetup if they want a community of friendly people with the same positive attitude towards sharing fresh air and sunshine with friends. The people are what makes a meetup. There were great people there, and as far as I'm concerned, that makes it a success.
