There is several rides I haven't done in awhile.
1. Ride Gowan past Decatur then down to Cheyenne and all the way across town and up to Hollywood and ride in the Temple area, or even further south. 2. Another variation which I haven't explored recently, is to ride east on Tropical or Centennial Pwky over to about Lamb. With the new Lamb bridge it may be possible to get over the RR tracks to Las Vegas Blvd and ride out past the Speedway. |

FEEL FREE TO SUGGEST A RIDEI suggest a short about 1o miles flat easy ride away from much traffic. I don't know if one exists...I'm still not ready for 20+ miles yet. Nobody is posting these short rides unfortunately but I thought I would ask again anyway. :) |

I'm wanting to get back to riding, but am still partially blind in my right eye. My beginner rides would only be up in the North/NorthWest area and until I get my biking legs back, only between 10-15 miles. Changing employers and going to school, so biking dates and times still to be determined.

Hi Asia! I have a couple of rides I do just about every day. I just e-mailed Ryan a 25 miler that I concocted below. I pasted the links so you can check them out. I don't mind riding alone, but it's fun to get together with with others.
less than 25 mi (going to do this Sunday 7/12/09 6 a.m.) http://www.mapmyride.... easy 13 mi ride http://www.mapmyride.... I have a seven hills version that's about 15 miles, but I haven't tracked it yet. The green valley one is nice because although it's all on roads, it's low on car traffic and has lots of cycling lanes. |
