Looking to ride from Manchester, NH to Boston, MA
I know, it will be busy.. that is unless any of you know some not busy routes. Can ya give me a route.. or put together a route route. I'd like to ride from my house, Manchester, NH Once I get to Boston I will take the ferry to P Town. Spend a day or two, ferry back to Boston.. and back to NH .. Thanks.. |

A rough route off the top of my head would be for you to follow 3A from Manchester/Bedford, NH all the way into Chelmsford, Ma. From there take route 4 from Chelmsford into Billerica, Bedford, pick up the Minuteman Trail in Bedford, follow that all the way into Cambridge, cut over to Mass ave and follow Mass ave into Boston and you can cut over to the waterfront and grab the ferry to P-Town.

KJ, .. thanks .. I looked at the route.. busy but
doable. In some parts it may actually be pretty sweet, as there is a big shoulder.. would be a good 60 miles though.. whew.. I'm still on the fence, but maybe.. thanks again |

3A in NH and Mass Ave in Cambride into Boston will be the highest traffic areas. BUT... it'll get you there. Once you hit Tyngsboro it's a pretty nice ride until you hit Cambridge. Plus I think you are looking at more then 60 miles to the Boston waterfront. I think it will be closer to 80 to 90 miles off the top of my head. I live in Lexington which is just about 60 miles from Manchester so you have a good ride ahead of you. :)
