Well, I guess you understand that basically we bike here, so why don?t you join us next time? Fortunately, Michigan offers plenty of beautiful bike routes, and our group could add a good company to this.
Now, here is a little FAQ section.
Q. How fast and how far do you usually bike?
A. We usually break into a slow and a fast group. People, who are capable of pushing pedals as if they were paid for this, quickly disappear in a distance, while slow bikers enjoy their relaxed pace far behind. No pressure, bike at your own speed. This is also true regarding a distance. Turn back as soon as you got enough. During our weekly rides we usually make 12-24 miles depending on individual vigor of individuals. No peer pressure. No pressure whatsoever.
Q. Who is choosing day and place for the weekend trips?
A. It could be you! If you have a good idea, just let me know, and in one click Ill make you an assistant organizer of the group, so you could schedule an event. Then you could step down or keep being an assistant organizer (no pressure).
More questions? Ask me or Diane, or any member of the group (preferably a one with a recent activity).

Would like to start biking after many years and need to buy a reasonablely priced bike. first thought after going to abike shop is get a comfort bike. Second thought is to buy it at Dunams/Target since much less money. would like to get experienced bikers advice. What kind of bike is used by most members? Is a comfor bike approprieate for rides group takes or a road bike better?I'm not sure what a road bike is.

I want to start biking and would like to meet talk with experienced bikers to get advice on bike to buy (cant spend much). Joining a group that bikes for fun, at a reasonable -own pace, sounds great.

Just got back into bicycle riding.. Have both mtn and road bikes. Usually try to ride 10-20 miles rides. Interested in longer rides too. I live in Ypsilanti and usually like riding around the Ypsi/Ann Arbor area.
