We'll ride from the Conshohocken train station to as far down the Kelly drive path as we can get before it gets too crowded with Regatta spectators. Then we'll lock up the bikes and stroll around the waterfront a bit, maybe watch a race.
I've never been to the Dad Vail Regatta so I don't know what to expect. Considering the crowd it attracts I'd expect there would be some decent catering stands there and we can have lunch. If not, we'll stop in Manayunk on the way back for lunch.
Expect to get back to Conshy around 2:15.
Conshy to the Art Museum is 13 mi. each way. I expect we'll do 23 - 24 miles.
The ride is paved trail or packed gravel trail the whole way except in Manayunk. The north end of Manayunk is dirt canal path, riders with tires smaller than 26cc may need to take the Umbria St. hill into town. From the middle of town until we get past the the Kelly Drive/Ridge Pk/Lincoln Dr. interchange will be on the road, about 3/4 mile.

Bring: Helmet, water, lock, cash for lunch (no credit cards), bike in good repair.
Arrive at 10:00 for un-racking, tire pressure check, bathroom break, etc.
Roll out at 10:15 sharp.
When you come across the Conshohocken bridge from the Expressway, make the first right onto Elm St., then the first right onto Harry. Turn right just before the railroad tracks, the parking lot is right there. There's a small store called, I think, The Outbound Station adjacent to the parking lot.
