We are 'The Sydney Bike Hash'! We have monthly cycle rides, somewhere in the greater Sydney area. A typical bike hash involves one or two members (hares) leaving from a pre-arranged starting point and marking a trail using chalk arrows through cycle ways, roads and trails for the 'pack' to follow on their bicycles before they reach the ending spot, where the beer and drinks are! This group was established to get people in contact with other people who would like to get into mountain biking. Participants should have basic bicycle skills and be keen to learn new skills and improve their confidence in riding off road. Rides vary from fire trail to single track and cater for beginners to intermediate riders.

Welcome to Social Cycling Sydney! We're a private, non-profit cycling group based in Sydney. Since 2007 we've organized hundreds of fun, social rides. We focus on weekend rides, typically a day trip in greater Sydney (ie somewhere between Gosford down to Wollongong and across to the far side of the Blue Mountains).
