We are 'The Sydney Bike Hash'! We have monthly cycle rides, somewhere in the greater Sydney area. A typical bike hash involves one or two members (hares) leaving from a pre-arranged starting point and marking a trail using chalk arrows through cycle ways, roads and trails for the 'pack' to follow on their bicycles before they reach the ending spot, where the beer and drinks are! Bring yer bike, water, helmet, bike lock and $10 for the ride and drinks (Beer, wine, soda, water, bubbly and snacks). …
This is a group for anyone interested in the pleasure of cycling. You will need to have confidence riding a bike, but you don't need to be a pro. We want to have a range of rides that cater for a variety of interests, but always with an emphasis on fun. Shorter rides will be around the city and usually leave from Town Hall. Longer rides will take us to more exotic locations and may cater for the more advanced riders, but always there will be plenty of stops and opportunity to chat over a coffee, …

If you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to let us know!
This is a group for beginner to intermediate riders that would like to take longer tours with the support of other riders. Touring events would be a combination of day rides and lightweight credit-card touring staying overnight. Not necessarily about athletic challenges, but definitely about having fun on each excursion.
