Hello, I am a cyclist looking to make a group of casual bike riders for a daily morning ride in the Eagle Rock / Pasadena area. I am not a hard core rider so rides of 10-20 miles tops is the goal, anywhere from 3 to 5 days a week. The rides will be of a moderate level of difficulty not exceeding 2 hours and more likely only an hour. The goal of every ride should be a cup of coffee at some point. All kidding aside please get in touch with me if you need some riding friends.

The idea for this group was spawned from the need to get out and ride afterwork and on the weekends for health and fitness. The intention is to provide encouragement and consistency to get out and ride 15 - 25+ miles after a work day or on a busy weekend. If you are a member of a cycling club, that's terrific. This meetup group will strive to provide a means to ride that does not conflict with bike club riding schedules.
This is a very specialized group for Italian road cyclist who speak Italian, eat Italian and ride Italian. Glendale has a lot of great roads, there are a lot of cyclists out there but not a whole lot of groups who actually go riding! This group is for people who want to ride …

Our four friends were talking about how many new hiking groups there are now when one commented about missing some of the old Classic hikes that seemed to have fallen through the cracks. Talk turned to missing Theme hikes, Target hikes, Easy hikes for newcomers, an Eclectic mix of hiking gaps to be sure, and then those Moderate hikes that became Endurance hikes, not because they took on lots of peaks, or because they went fast, but just because they shared the whole day with walk and talk, just …

I tried to get something like this started a few months ago, but a death in the family derailed it. So, here we go again: This is a group for writers struggling with productivity. We meet once a week and more often via social media, phone, lifelines, whatever in order to do one thing: provide accountability so that we can track our progress and meet our goals. Traditional workshop elements are, if we want them, informal - we can read each other's stuff, but that's not the aim; nor is providing e …

Fun in the sun, hiking, biking, kayaking, inline skating, cross-country skiing, dancing (lindy hop, salsa, swing, etc.) for active adults. Meetup charges organizers $144 per year to host a Meetup site. The $2 dues helps to offset the hosting fee, and saves collecting funds at each Meetup. They're usually all free unless the venue charges. Members can see all funds that come in and go out by clicking the Money tab. Thank you.--Sandy
