The Berkeley Bicycling Meetup Group is for anyone who wants to meet new people and explore the  Bay Area. We have done mostly road rides but I plan to post a few mountain bike rides in the near future.  The rides are a lot of fun and are a great place to learn new routes. A Meetup for people interested in group bicycling or roller-blading, skiking and hiking in the Fremont, Union City, Newark (FUN) area. The focus is on social, OFF-ROAD (no dodging cars and inhaling fumes), but paved trail rides and rolls on weekdays in the FUN area.
