Getting to know your community is as easy as riding a bike. The Southbay Cruisers Community Bicycle Group is all about cruisin' the beach cities of Los Angeles,CA. (Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, and Torrance) We use community bike rides to get to know the people in our neighborhood, get some exercise, & have some fun too. We ride through streets at an easy to moderate pace through mostly flat terrain as we view ocean scenery and listen to music from our bike stereo …
We go on bicycle rides, bicycle camping trips, day sails on my Ericson 35 sailboat and overnight trips to Catalina. Much more to come soon.
We get together to create an abnormally high concentration of people who know a thing or two about bikes and are willing to share this knowledge with courtesy and patience. We then throw in the tools and equipment to get the job done and end up with a pretty excellent situation where you can fix your bike while learning how to do it yourself. A lot of people find that getting this hands-on experience helps them be more in touch with their mechanical steed, so that the mutually beneficial human …

This is a no-drop road ride in and around the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Rides are from 25 - 45 miles but since you are never too far from the start you can cut the ride short if you need to. There are lots of steep hills in Palos Verdes, which is great for training. There are a wide range of abilities in the group so you can almost always find someone your speed to ride with. Periodic regroup points mean that the group never gets spread that far apart. After the ride there is free coffee and snack …

Hello, I am a cyclist looking to make a group of casual bike riders for a daily morning ride in the Eagle Rock / Pasadena area. I am not a hard core rider so rides of 10-20 miles tops is the goal, anywhere from 3 to 5 days a week. The rides will be of a moderate level of difficulty not exceeding 2 hours and more likely only an hour. The goal of every ride should be a cup of coffee at some point. All kidding aside please get in touch with me if you need some riding friends.
